It is our ReLaunch Celebration Picnic! Sunday, May 17th, starting after the morning worship service at 12 noon, we will gather at the Wilcox’s for a Celebration Lunch.
What’s the occassion? Many, many volunteers gave of their time, talents, and even a little blood, sweat and tears to make the ReLaunch of HPCC a success. We want to take an afternoon to thank them, and celebrate the realization of the ReLaunch Dream at Highland Park Community Church.

Whether you were with us 6 months ago when we began the work, or you joined us on Easter Sunday, YOU ARE WELCOMED to this Party.

Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 10th and we are encouraging you to bring your Mother to Church that day. It is a special day for all the special women in your life. So, treat her well,  buy her a new outfit, and bring her to church.

We’ll have a special treat in the Back Porck Cafe area for Moms … homemade  Waffles with a variety of delicious toppings for her to choose from. 

See you then! Come a few minutes before to get them hot… waffles, that is, not Moms. 

PS … if you can’t bring YOUR Mom, then Bring A Mom … any Mom, and that will be just fine with us.

This Saturday, April 25, 10am-12noon, we will hold a session on Walking the Prayer Labyrinth. If you’ve never had the opportunity to pray in this way, then show up on Saturday to learn a new way to engage in meaningful prayer and connection with God. 

The first half an hour we will talk about the labyrinth, its history, how to pray using this method, etc. The remainder of our time we will practice what we’ve learned by actually Walking the Laybryinth together.

Thanks for joining us on Easter Sunday, our Grand Re-Opening Day! It was a day to remember. The music was great, the food was just fabulous, and the conversation was enriching. What a day at HPCC!

Today, on Good Friday, we have opened our church sanctuary to the community for the opportunity to Make the Stations. The door are open from 6 am – 6 pm. The Stations are set up for a self-guided prayer walk. Stay as long or as short as you like.

Come today and reflect on Jesus’ Passion. It’s a great way to remember the significance of the day.

The final days are upon us before we go public with our Worship service on Easter Sunday, April 12th. We are inviting our community to join us on Easter Sunday @ 10 am in our newly designed space. We’ll gather, sing, laugh, learn, welcome, give thanks, and give things away. Hope to see you there.

That’s right. O-A-K-S is what we call them… Outrageous Acts of Kindness in our community. Our next schedule OAK is April 4th 1-3 pm, we are doing a FREE Car Wash on site at Uncle Bill’s Deli on Highland Park Drive (located behind the Shell gas station). Bring your dirty car and we’ll make it clean. For FREE!

2nd Serv-Fest

February is our soda & pretzel giveaway. We are stationed at Carver Liberty gas station from 10am -12 noon … stop by and say hi and we’ll give you a warm pretzel and soda for free!

1st Serv-Fest

Sam’s Club Coin toss and Beverage Give away is Jan 31. Coins collected will be donated to a local charity. All beverages served will be hot to warm up cold shoppers.
