This is our 5th annual Fall Harvest celebration in Highland Park!

Come on out to the annual fall camping trip!  This year we’re going to Bucks County’s Tohickon Valley Park.  See Keith for additional info.

On Sunday Oct. 10th we’ll hold church at the campsite.

Run the Gates: We are taking Church to the streets and helping our community with this Fundraising event on Sunday morning, June 6th. If you are helping out with the pretzel/water table arrive at Forsythia Gate Park by 8am. If you are helping with handing out water along the course arrive at the Swopes (96 Forsythia Dr S) by 9am.

April 4th @ 10AM

We will gather on Easter Sunday to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus, our King and our Salvation.  If God has given you the Grace to know Him in a new way over this year since Easter ReLaunch 2009, then extend that invitation to another person so they too may experience His Grace in the year to come. Grab some Invite Cards at church on Sunday to pass onto your circle of friends and family!

Good Friday, April 2nd: Stations of the Cross 6am-6pm

This is a great way to pause the busy-ness of our lives and take 30 minutes to remember the significance of the Easter Season. Walking the Stations on Good Friday is a spiritual practice that invites us to pray using our whole body, senses, memory, touch, smell, etc. If you have never walked the Stations of the Cross why not stretch yourself this Easter and experience a new way to hear an old, old Story.

Saturday, April 3rd:  Easter Egg Hunt 12-2:30 pm

Our second annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held the Saturday before Easter Sunday! This event is FREE to our community, so gather your egg baskets, grab a kid or two, and come out for a fun afternoon to celebrate the season of New Birth.

Due to the snow there will be no church on Feb. 7th.

We are collecting donations of personal care items for the victims of the earthquakes in Haiti. The relief kits will be distributed by a reputable relief agency (visit http://mcc.org/kits/relief or www.highlandparkcc.org ). By working alongside our community, we will complete 100 kits that will bring help and hope to families in need.

Items needed (new only please)

• 4 large bars bath soap (leave in wrapping)
• 1 plastic bottle shampoo (380-710ml / 13-24oz; place bottle in a re-sealable plastic bag)
• 4 large bars of laundry soap (some stores carry Fels Naptha, Sunlight or Zote brands)
• 1 squeeze-tube toothpaste (minimum 130ml / 6oz; leave in box)
• 4 adult-size toothbrushes (leave in packaging)
• 4 new bath towels (medium weight, dark or bright colors)
• 2 wide-tooth combs(6 to 8in / 15 to 20cm)
• 1 fingernail clipper
• 1 box adhesive bandages (minimum 40, assorted)
• 1 package sanitary pads (18-24 thin maxi)

2 dates for Drop off :  Saturday Feb 6 & 13, 9am-noon

On Valentine’s Day, Feb 14th @1 pm we will assemble the kits in our Community Room! Come join us.

4 pm Jan. 3rd we’re gonna watch the Eagles finish out their regular season by defeating the Cowboys!  Stop by the ‘Back Porch’ at the church to check out the game in HD on the big screen TV.  Bring some favorite game watchin’ food or drink to share and we’ll all have a great time!

Due to the winter storm there will be no church service on Sunday, Dec. 20th.

Stop by for the Christmas Eve service on Thurs. at 7 p.m. sharp.
